Mortal Kombat 3 on the SNES is a big rip off. I guarantee that this is for Mortal Kombat pros. In Mortal Kombat 3, there are even more characters and more stages to play on. When I played this game, I thought that it was me that was not doing so good, but when I started to play it a little more, I realized that the opponents cheat so badly. I think that they should have not made this game like this because I do not think that most people would be able to beat this game. I have this game in real life and I do not know why I have it still cause it is a horrible game. It is fun to play it when you want to play with your friends, but not 1-player mode, it will mess up your mind.
Graphics - 10
The graphics are very good looking. More bloody and more violent. The cool thing about it is the characters, they really look a lot better than Mortal Kombat 1 and 2.
Sound - 10
The sound is better. It has funny sayings when you uppercut people, a real person in the corner of the screen would say, "WHOOPSIE" (or something close to that saying). What I do not get is that most of the people have the same sound effects when they get hit. Same screaming and same "ow" noises. Whatever, it is a SNES game and most of them have the same sayings from this game and under.
Addictiveness - 6
I did not enjoy playing this game. It was just way too difficult to play. I had a hard time playing the game. Even thought it is a hard game to play, you still would want to play it for the heck of it. I do not know why, but it just taunts you to play it.
Story - N/A
There is no story in Mortal Kombat 3. There should be a story in this game, but it does not. Basically you just try to get to the top and beat the last enemy and you win, that is all. The rest you can just play whatever you feel like playing.
Depth - 8
This game has a few features that seem to be fun. For instance, if you apply to some cheats in the game, you can play a slot game, which I have no idea what happens if you get 3 of the same images, but if you run of tries, Shao Khan will say, "You Suck!" There are so much cheats in the game that you can put in that can be helpful, but most of them do not work. Like if you want to be Shao Khan, it never works for me. You can be Smoke in the game, but that is all I can pick as a secret character. There are many more and I cannot say it all cause it would be too many to say. I will just leave the rest to you to find out.
Difficulty - 9
The game is very hard. I could only make it half way to the tower. Trust me, their moves are so cheating. Like if you do an uppercut at them, you will miss and they will do an uppercut at you and they would hit you. Come on!! That is not fair. It is like the uppercut is useless unless if they are in the air.
Wrap Things Up...
Mortal Kombat 3 is what I should have never owned. I guarantee that it is going to be hard for you. You can try this game out, but if you start to get frustrated, just stop the game and call it quits. I just can't seem to beat this game at all.
