  Every time I try to play the game, the game crashes instantly or during the game. Sometimes the game screen flashes, and then I get a blinking screen. Every other time the RGR plug in crashes instantly or during a match.

Well, try clearing your cookies and your cache, other than that it's probably just a compatibility error past that point and your only solution is to try another computer.  The N64 games are really touchy, as they aren't really meant to be played on a computer, and sometimes they'll just randomly stop working for people, which is one of the reasons I rarely play N64 games on here, I just stick to the other systems. 

The only other solutions I can think of would be to re download the ROM, you can find out how to delete it here, and then just retry the game and see if it works.  https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=25979#05  And you could also try going into the save file manager with firefox, and delete your game file, which sucks, but it might let you play up to metal mario again if that's what's causing the problem.
