So across this because of a buddy but check out the new Playstation Vita going to be carried through AT&T and has a lot of new features that will be first for a hand held.....anyone who has demoed one please post here so i can get some first hand knowledge

I am excited to see how it works.

I wish we could get verizon service, but whatever, that's hardly important to me.

Haha omg I'm in love with it, as I haven't bought a handheld since Gameboy Advanced SP, I can't afford to keep buying newer models But this lloks awesome, it's got all the old features & more. I can't wait to see what Sony has to offer this time. I have a PSP, and love it, but there aren't enough games, sadly . So maybe this new thing will be even better, I'm sure it will though.

The PSV looks good, but I won't buy one unless there is good support from 3rd party devs . I own a PSP and I am underwhelmed with the support it has gotten. The fact that it is HD might mean that there are less games on the system. A developer could spend the time and money producing  games for the PS3 and 360 , which compared to PSP sales , will have a much larger user base.

Although one could argue that developers might not make as many 3D games as 2D games, and thus reducing production costs and time. Look at the DS for example, most games are 2D with sprites. I own over 25 DS games and only 1 of them is in 3D,  that game being Metroid.

Again the PSV looks very good, especially how powerful it is for a handheld, but I won't buy it unless they make a lot of games on it.

i can't wait for the psv, but what i really want to see are hacks. theres been an ongoing war over hackers and sony. ( hackers > sony) my psp is hacked and it's pretty cool to have ctf themes and homebrew on it, but sony will keep trying to patch new cfw with updates( why do you think you have to update every month or so )i only hacked my psp so i could download a back up of one of my games.what i don't understand is why american psp users have so little support compared to japanese users. same things gonna happen with psv. hack, patch, repeat.hack, patch, repeat.hack, patch, repeat.hack, patch, repeat.hack, patch, repeat.hack, patch, repeat.hack, patch, repeat.

I'm quite excited for the PSVita. I was thinking, "Dang. As much as I love my 3DS, this thing is going to kill the 3DS. People will be buying this up like crazy." Although now that the PSVita has been delayed into 2012, (I was hoping to get it for christmas) and the 3DS price has dropped to $169, its not looking so.

I just saw the new Uncharted game on it and it looks awesome, it's as if it had PS3 graphics. Though I'm still happy with my psp, I'll probably wait untill the price drops more.

PSV hacks..It will happen but I will tell you this right now, You won't find it unless you grope around in the Hacker Underworld. As for Sony being anti Hackers it's true they will prosecute you if it violates the TOS which all hacks will be a violation of, but that won't stop me ^^. The only downside is 3g is all going to be through AT&T which Sucks for us
