I surely can't be the only person here in love with the SaGa series. SaGa Frontier will always be my favorite as it's what brought me into the wonderful series.Learning new skills at random, a large selection of viable characters to use, hopping dimensions...Having to jump through hoops for some of the spells is admittedly a bit lame, though. The combo system is outstanding, I'll never forget my first 5-person combo, or when I figured out DSC on my own. No guides, no FAQ's, just sheer luck. My favorite character is one with very little story. Blue all the way. I think I like him so much because I'm a mage fanatic, and someone starting out with spells + with the main quest to get all of the spells hooked me hard. I will admit, though, that I like -almost- every character. Riki can just go die in a fire, thanks.SaGa Frontier 2 is also quite good, but for different reasons. The artwork is hand drawn and completely -wow- to look at. One-on-one battles was a nice addition to the series, and being able to learn skills by inputting their direct commands (Charge-charge-thrust for an example) blew my mind when I was younger. So let's have this thread be in celebration of the SaGa games, new and old. (And yes, The Last Remnant counts =P)
