Unless the cheetah can somehow hide itself in the grass and attack the hawk when it's on land it wouldn't stand a chance. I doubt that happening, why? Because a Hawk would never casually walk around on land, and the hawk would spot the hiding cheetah and continuously attack it from the air until it dies.

I would like to see the hawk try to attack the cheetah, who says the cheetah has to be tired, it'll just swipe at each attempt thus the hawk doesn't really have that advantage.. Cheetah!
