Listen up children! My name is Professor Pine. Unlike my colleagues in the Pokemon research profession, I have no interest in filling out data in high tech encyclopedias. I however am fascinated by how Pokemon develop when battled competitively. I need some young whippersnapper's help now though.

You are not enemies on this humbling quest, though friendly rivalries may develop. Furthermore, any Dex entry unlocked by one member of the team benefits the whole team.

My vote goes for Hoenn. No particular reason, except maybe based on the real life map all the Pokemon regions are based on. (IRL, "Hoenn" is the westernmost of all the regions. ) That way we save travel expenses.
