It could happen in many different ways, how it will happen no body knows, The sun could go super nova, A huge mother of a meteorite could smash into us, Global warming could end it but i doubt God would, So many different versions of bibles and religions written by man to control people its not funny, I do believe in God and like i said before, i doubt it that he or she would destroy something that was created by him or her. Would be more of the devil's work than God but yet again i dont believe there is a devil to begin with lol. The Earth will end some day in the future but when that day comes, I'm hoping not to be on Earth, if im died from old age, would i really care if the world blew up??? I might be if im reincarnated at that time lmao. Till then all we can do is enjoy life, create new families and keep gaming.

Well, the sun isn't large enough for a supernova but that meteorite idea is possible. Apophis has a very small chance of slamming into, and mostly destroying, our planet in 2029 and 2036. But those are VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY LOW chances

Allright, I just have to address this really quick. I believe in God, I am a solid Baptist Christian, and here is my thoughts: I believe that people think God himself is going to end the world, but as you say, why would God destroy something created by him? (And by the way, it is a He, because He is our Father) So what I think is that God set up the world, and life was grand until the Devil stepped down from heaven (albeit forced to) and then the Devil introduced "Entropy" which can be described, according to Dictionary.com as "a doctrine of inevitable social decline and degeneration." So, due to that, the universe slowly is dying, its life force draining. I also believe that due to this, the world is going to end with God having nothing to do it. In essence, I think that the Rapture and all of that will happen because God wants us to believe in him, and due to the depravity of human minds, death and destruction is all that will get through to us. If we go to him, some part of us will live on, perhaps Heaven is like a separate universe with no Devil. That is my view, at least.

Firstly, about the he vs she thing for G-d, most of those religious texts were written or based off something written when sexism was prominent. If anything, G-d would probably be an it (an omnipotent spirit).

Next, stepped down isn't the right term. according to christian mythology, lucifer (which means light bringer) rebelled against G-d and then got his ass kicked by Michael. Then he was cast down to hell. Supposedly, at the rapture he will be cast down into the fires of hell and die.

Now, I don't believe any of that. I'm just saying what I learned when studying "Paradise Lost" in school. My beliefs are that earth will be destroyed by some other creature somewhere thousands or millions of years from now, or that when the sun dies, everything in the solar system will die. I do not think that the universe will ever end

See, as any christian church I have ever heard of, it is always "Our Father", and while yes, this was when males were considered more important than females, I believe that the name basically stuck, and he became male in the eyes of Christians.

Secondly, I actually said he was forced but I didnt feel like backspacing all the way back and revised "stepped down" with a set of parentheses that read (Albeit forced to), meaning he was thrown down, which was my original intent. Also, I believe Lucifer, Satan, the Devil, ect. are all merely titles, for beings such as they truly have no name, no gender, no nothing, but are pure energy until they choose to take form.

just curious, does christianity take the possibility of life on other planets? because if so, even if the earth were destroyed, humans could have found another place to live and just live there
