If by Lucas' Nightmare you mean that really creepy background with the face of Clause (I think) waving in the back, then yes, I've seen it. No clue why they didn't keep that for the final game though. It would've been really neat to see!

Ah, I remember that. Yeah I've seen that before, although I haven't played Mother 3 myself.

You would be surprised on how much unused stuff is actually in some game's data. For example; in the Japanese version of Majora's Mask, there's different tunnels in the Deku Palace, that weren't there in the American version of the game, however, using debug codes, you can still access those maps. And I'm sure some of you know of the Japanese fish, blue fire still being in Majora's Mask, even Saria's Ocarina from Ocarina of Time is in Majora's Mask.
