The other day at work right, I asked my boss if I could put him on my resume as a referee. He said yeah, ok.. But he wasn't really paying attention.

Then on Wednesday, he wanted to see me after work. He took me into his office and said seeing as I'm looking for another job, it seems to him I don't want to be there anymore so they got someone else to fill my position, don't bother coming in to work tomorrow.

Its so freaking retarded though, because he knew I was starting University in about 4 weeks, and I told him, thats what job I was looking for, on the other side of the CITY!!!

Gah!, I'm so angry...

Ha, no need to sue that would just be silly. He is the boss, you are just an underling. If I was a business owner I would sure as hell want to be able to fire anyone I wanted at my discretion. IF you did do anything like that he could/would say he fired you because of spotty work performance.
