How do you handle exam period?

Right now, weather is going more beautiful with each day and my concentration level is close to zero...aah, stressed!

This will be my final univeristy exams. So if I pass, I'll get my teaching diploma. If not... well, there is always Semptember, lol. But I really want to finish by the end of June, because I really need a break!
As for stress, I'm stressed all the time, I can't deny that. But hot chamomile tea has always a calm effect on me. So if you're not allergic to it, I think it's a good suggestion against stress

Also you should try to eat and sleep properly, but I can't do any of them, because I don't have enough free time right now, but it's said that they help a lot.

I wait for the last minute to do everything so I'd avoid that. However, I gotta say, everything usually manages to work itself out. My brain must have the most confidence in th3e world because I'll just stop working and take a nap or two...or three on the day that the assignment is due. Somehow I always finish ten minutes before I need to leave the house for school. It's crazy. Once everything is finished and handed in, it feels amazing to have that load off my shoulders.

Exams don't really stress me out very much. However if they would, I just take a few deep breaths and tell myself that it's just ONE exam. There are so many different tests and quizzes and such that even if I do less than satisfactory, it's not the end of the world.

I tend to do things at the last minute also, suppose that is why I feel stressed.
or maybe I feel stressed because I can't get myself together to do them nice and easy and with loads of time.

-.-

Why exams matter is college pays support money (don't know the term in English) according to the results. I would hate to lose it.

maybe tea will help really, should try it.
I put newspapers over my window so I couldn't watch out, window is pretty much my tv

I never really felt stressed during examinations, to my immediate memory.

I was never the personality type as to leave everything for the two minutes before midnight, but I didn't exactly start preparation for study timetables and all that 10-14 weeks in advance like Hermione Granger would have. I always felt people grows concerned about exams not because of their impact, but because it is the easiest thing to do. That's right, I've said that: people stress because it is the easy thing to do.

I say that because of this bit of logic: if you were confronted by a life-threatening situation, what would your first reaction be? Many people would panic initially, and some continues to panic because it is the most obvious thing to do. In examinations, I tend to notice people who feels initial panic usually keeps feeding it not because of the impact it could have on their life, but more of how panicking appears to be the "logical" thing to do.

Thus, I never really saw the point in getting stressed out when in reality it is not a logical thing to do.

My study has generally been light, but not because I slack off. It is because since I worked hard all the previous year, the workload would actually be extremely light; more a matter of glancing over stuff from earlier in the year so it is clear. If I didn't understand something I would focus on it, but I never tried to force myself to spend 8=10 hours of study a day.

I'm in the same boat as Red. I prepared all semester, I knew all I could, I did well on tests and reviewed them.

I worked hard to excel at school and I did well on tests. I dominated finals and enjoyed them every year. It was like a game to me. I played Jeopardy! in school.

I hate taking exams. Whenever I get done with it, I have to sit there for like 30 minutes to an hour and do nothing. I wish I can just get out of the classroom once I am done with my exam.

I don't have problems with exams or tests. That's where I excel really. And as for afterwards, I just sit and read.

You guys have to wait until the time is over and then you can leave? o.O
That's odd.
Here, when you're done, be it even 15 minutes, you can walk out.

Come to think about, maybe in a way, it is good that you can't - more controlling of what you wrote, etc?

I really disliked exams and they kind of stressed me out. Mostly cause I felt like I was going to bad and flunk. The stress was esp. bad if it was a midterm or finals. I'm relieved that I made it through and graduated.

I usually just lock myself up and say that I am getting this done. I then work as hard as I can to get whatever it is I need to do done. Though studying with friends make the work a whole lot easier!

Well I usually Don't have to do the exam as a part of my program But for tests and stuff I just study for a few hours take short breaks by grabbing something to eat. If the weather Is nice sit outside with your books and study outside It might help you concentrate more,I find It helps me.

I relax and do everything I want.
I hate feeling stressed because of exams, so a week before the big day I review everything that needs to get reviewed, and then watch everyone cram the week after.
