Oh my god, this game is addicting. It is way too fun and very epic. Playing this game will never make you stop playing it. When I started playing this game, I looked at it and was like "this is just like final fantasy." When I got into the game, I was so into it and seemed very interesting and adventurous. Playing this game would get your butt off of doing nothing.

Graphics - 8

The graphics are okay.  Some of the faces on Earthbound is a little messed up.  For example, Porkey in the beginning.  His face did not look like a human face at all.

Sound - 9

The sound was very good.  It was related to the game and some were just interesting.  Good songs and good sound effects.  My favorite sound effect is the one where you are going into a battle, it is just so different from other games.

Addictiveness - 10

Like I said, this game is so addicting.  I could not stop playing it.  It was like playing as a little boy in real life going to town with money and credit cards and stuff.  It is very good, especially the leveling up.

Story - 10

The story is amazing.  It starts out with Ness and Porkey going to get Picky, Porkey's brother, that was asleep near the meteorite at night.  When the three were about to leave, the meteorite starts to glow and a bee-looking insect was telling them that the future is not going to be good or something and that the three heroes is their only hope.  After that, they all go into Porkey's house and the bee gets hit by the mother and the bee told Ness that he had to go to 8 different places and all that stuff.  It is a good story, but I have never beaten the game though.

Depth - 10

There are a lot of features in the game.  You have the money, the credit card deposits and withdraw, and equipping items.  It is somewhat related to Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem when it comes to items in the game.  The game makes you want to play it, I guarantee you.  I always wanted to play it and now I have and it was better than I expected.

Difficulty - 5

The game is not that hard if you know what you are doing.  In the beginning, it might be hard and you could die a few times.  I do not know why, but that is just how it is to me.

Wrap Things Up...

Earthbound on the SNES is one of the most popular games I have ever played.  I highly recommend trying this game.  It is a good game and is a great adventure.  I do not know why they would not make newer games of Earthbound since it is 2011, but they should make a game of Earthbound soon.

I agree, Earthbound is very addicting. It is so because it's so dramatically different than other RPG's at the time. Instead of magic, you get PSI.  Instead of a sword, you have a bat. I think it's the modern world setting that really gets people's attention.

did i hear eathbound! yessss marcmoney hehe i actually love the whole series after chugga introduced me to em. and i totally agree that it makes yah keep playing till the end lol its like one of those good books you cant put down but .. a game nice review haha and good luck earthbound is a logn game
