I call this the LEGGY MEGAMAN BATTLENETWORK CHAMPIONSHIPS.

As many of you know, I am playing through the entire Megaman Battle Network series again. What does this have to do with the competition?

I want you all to beat me in speed.

I am going around the games screwing around, so it'll give you leeway.

You need to beat my times in each game to get the corresponding prize. Only the fastest wins each contest.

The contest will go on until one month after I beat the last game in the series.

Here are the rules
1. YOU must beat the game
2. YOU must provide a screen shot with the RGR plugin (so I know you did it)
3. YOU must post your time in here or it won't count.

okay just a question in case does battle network blue moon count? i know it's the same game as red sun but it has different bosses

I only said the versions I personally would be playing. I prefer Red Sun, so I'm playing that one.

Blue Moon is supposedly just as easy/hard, but requires different strategies.

If and when you beat any game in the series, post a screenshot taken with the RGR plugin in here.

If i was to rush my way though this game... how long would it take? ... Meaning, could i easily beat the game in one sitting?

Not in one sitting, unless you like playing the same repeitive thing for 10 hours.

My best advice to do a slow playthrough of it to get a feel, then do a speedrun after you know how to do it.

I MIGHT give this a shot..the only question I have is...how the heck do you screen shot? In simplistic terms please....

You press the F6 button in the RGR plugin. Then you go down to the screenshot section, on the left there is an option to submit a screen shot.

Submit it, and then post the link to it here.

I'm close to beating Red Sun i decided to try that instead

I'm deliberately trying to do only one game a month, so everyone has time to get their times in before the end of the contest.

I'm competing, as is the_casualty if he gets time, darkpower here seems confident he'll win....

It's not easy to beat these games too fast. Especially if you don't know how to play the game.

I'm about more than halfway done with the 2nd one

Can I just take a picture of my GBA's screen?

My PC isn't working that well, so I can't use an emulator.

I suppose you could, just make sure you specify the game and show a close up of the time as well as a distant shot of the game on your game boy.
