I love Super Mario RPG. I still love playing it all these years later. I enjoyed Paper Mario on the N64, but for some reason I didn't like it as much as Super Mario RPG.

I do like the newer Mario and Luigi RPG titles. Those are great games.

I first played Super Mario RPG on the Virtual Console.  It was well worth the points I spent on it.  I have no regrets about getting it, as it was perhaps the best Mario game I have played.  The characters, music, and story all grew on me.  The game play was easy to get used to as well.  The only other two Mario RPG games I have played were Mario and Luigi:  Partners in Time and Mario and Luigi:  Bowser's Inside Story.  Those two were very fun to play, too.  I have not played any of the Paper Mario games, but I am thinking about it.  What's not to love about Mario RPG games?

This is the first RPG I actually played all the way through, good storyline, characters, and they even have a FF boss in there.  pretty awesome, I still got the strategy guide for it.

i love super mario rpg because it is an rpg because i love rpg games i think rpg games is the best so super mario rpg is made by square soft and nintendo of course and square soft is an rpg company and it's kindof like paper mario because when you get near a enemy you fight them so super mario rpg and paper mario is one of the best in my opinion rpg gamesi ever played

iBOCK : I have Mario and Luigi 3! You should definitely try it out. The dialogue is really..weird. But I like it, it's entertaining. Definitely different though. And the gameplay is as fantastic as ever. In reply to this thread I haven't played it before, but I'm planning to get Paper Mario for 3DS whenever it comes out.
