Besides her AF armor, this killing machine also carries the valuable Leaping Boots, around 200k in gil, and the reputation of one of Vana'diel's most skilled Red Mages. (For you, that means it won't take long to find a party!) I've built her for a long time and hate to see her go, but in addition to everything else she carries...she also now carries a price tag of $800. Send me a PM if interested.

Dude, I'm not just stuck up and saying "Oh, she's worth this much..." I'm going with the price of other similar accounts. Two jobs at lvl 60+... An account that has ONE job at lv 75 (max) is worth about $1000. And they SELL for that much too! (As in, people DO buy them!)

Well...that whole market hinges on how difficult it is to:

1) Gain levels
2) Gain gil

FFXI is pretty tough in both departments... Anything over lv 50 is just insanely hard to get... Someone who works REALLY hard and knows EXACTLY what they're doing can make around half a million gil a day. What's a good amount of pay for one hard day's work? Meh, maybe a little less than $100. Hence, you get this whole pricing system born out of that... A million gil is around $160 or so...

But rather than a selling price, that actually becomes more like an exchange rate...as if gil was a real currency. Suddenly you have actual US Dollar prices for in-game items, translated into USD from in-game gil. Crazy, huh?

And yes, it's just one word: eBay.

Actually, I may not need to take it to eBay. I've got a gil-farmer in China who's interested...

I wouldn't pay $800 for an account. I would rather work on my character myself anyway. And plus I don't have the game.

800 is still way to much..other than for the FREAK die hard fans

I cant afford that, but just so you all know, that is well worth it, that must have taken months and maybe a couple years to do, and I know for one thing, that most american people arent too good at that game, its the japanese that are kick.... at that game, so I congradulate you for your hard work, and any of you think thats too much, try thinkin past your nose.

Thanks for the kind words, Mister Mog. It took just over a year... I got the game the day it came out in the USA, which was sometime in October of '03. As for it being the Japanese that kick...well, that's true... And several of the JPs who've partied with me have sung my praises as a Red Mage! It's all about getting it down to a science of timing and sequences...

Put together a party of 4 magic-users and 3 melee people (Paladin is both magic & melee)... Then just make a full round of Refresh/Haste/Refresh/Haste/Refresh/Haste/Refresh... (4 Refreshes, 3 Hastes) Always Refresh yourself first so you know when to start the sequence again. (I have them macro'd to each party member's name, so I just hit Alt-1, Alt-2, Alt-3, etc.) When your Refresh wears off, go through the sequence again, but only the Refreshes, not the Hastes. (Your melees will be without Haste for about 30 seconds before the process starts over.) When that wears off, start from the beginning again and get ready for future party invites to flood your screen.

First of all you can't sell your account on FF11. It is against the terms of agreement

Thus probably making this illegal.

And I doupt anyone here is willing to toss up $800 or whatnot just for an account.

So, stick to ebay or whatever.
