Grandia III. It was designed and written by Game Arts, but Square-Enix did the dirty work. Interestingly, you can really feel both companies' particular styles and tastes in the game. The music, the plane-flying overworld screen, and the save system are very Square-Enix... And then there were several times where I thought "Wow, something about this feels like Lunar." (For example, some parts of the Melc Ruins really reminded me of Lunar's Blue Spire, and Arcriff Temple reminded me of Pentagulia.) And even Yuki bears a slight resemblance to Hiro.

Then I remembered that Game Arts made Lunar. Oh yeah. NICE.

You know what we're missing? A Lunar on PS2.

Other Squenix games that turned out good? Um, hello? How bout KINGDOM HEARTS II? And we can't forget Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time.
