Do you think they should continue making Final Fantasies online? I don't because then you have to pay every month just to play, and what if you pay, but don't play that month? I just think it's better to keep them the way they are, or at least have to option to either play solo, or online...

I doubt they will; they will keep making expansions on the online one already.
Or maybe when they are on the 20's.
I hate the monthly pay, also.
But if you could go solo, it would be easier to level by yourself.
Unless they made something that is easier online.

Stupid idea, I know, but:

What if there was an FF game that was free to play online, but there were some cash items? They'd get a massive flood of money and they'd also be able to spend some more money on extra content. Everyone would be happy.
