Magikarp, a orange, pathetic fish that can barely swim. I know that it can evolve into a super strong Pokémon but still, how is it even going to level up if it can't attack? I think magikarp is the most pointless Pokémon.

Alec ze Raptor : I actually have to disagree with you greatly there. Snorlax and Blissey are normal types yet they are very useful Pokémon. Snorlax is just an utter beast. Wide variety of type coverage it can have. I mean it can learn many different types. Its a tank, high hp and relative defences. Not to mention Rest. Omg that move is easy win. Blissey has the highest hp in the game can also self heal, add seismic toss and you will slowly die.
Back on topic with the most useless Pokémon. Has to be weedle. At least catterpie evolves into a Butterfree. Beedrill is crappy and useless. However many people also pointed out how sucky unknown are and I agree. Theres too many crappy Pokémon to choose from really.
Just wanted to add, gyarados isn't as beast as people think he is. 4x weak to electricity. Pretty weak considering Electric types are pretty much a given pick on any team. Be with moves if not necessarily the Pokémon itself.

I would say Metapod just because it can't do anything.

It raises it's defenses the whole time plus it's evolution isn't the greatest to wait for.

TheOmegaDragon : it is easy to level up just put it in the front and keep switching it out it will evolve

Feebas is the most pointless pokemon.All it is is just a rip-off of magikarp. Magikarp is pretty cool im my opinion

i think raichu is pretty useless it is just pikachu except he is stronger kinda pointless

Larvitar. It always seems to be such a pain in the neck to raise that thing into the supreme and ultimate Tyrannitar.

I tell this to everybody... MAGIKARP!!! Until it evolves into a Garydos, it is 100 % pointless...

pokemon x : the strategy is tho throw it out there untilit has 1 HP left, and withdraw it, and give it the Moonstone. 

and since I said the most pointless, I will say the 2nd most pointless: Tokepri. It sits tehre and does nothing... does not even have any moves.

magicarp. If it weren't for the fact it could become a gyarados
, no one would even bother to level/raise it at all, since all it does is splash. What kind of move is splash anyway? Why make moves that do nothing on purpose?

People who say Magikarp are worng as it can pwn in Platuim for teaching it bounce. The most useless is MissingNo. because it deletes your data. if that don't count throw in Wormple or whatever it is, because you won't know if it is gonna turn into Dusktox or Beautyfly until it turns evolves which can ruin what kind of pokemon you wanted.

To me, Feebas is the most pointless Pokemon. It's not like Magikarp. You can't teach it bounce and you can't use the Magikarp strategy with Feebas.

I think the most useless Pokémon would be, Sunkern. Sunkern is the worst Pokémon! With only 30 in each base stat, what are you gunna do with that?

Another pointless Pokemon is Metapod. All it does is harden, this is why I think it's pointless
