Today I've been trying to play Paper Mario for the ninendo 64. The game works fine, but when I save, it doesn't save. on the bottom it always say, "saved file download failed!" or something like that. Then when I quit, it crashes my browser on Internet Explorer and FireFox. Can anyone help me? Cause Paper Mario is one of my favorite games

PS : I have a PC if that helps

Does your internet connection cut in and out while you're playing the game? This could cause a problem when it tries to upload your saves if your internet connection has cut out. This has happened to a few people who've reported a similar error lately. If you save in game, then return to the games main menu without closing the game, are you able to find and load your previous save file?

Mine says the same exact thing, although i don't know what to do about it either. The game always begins withe "saved state download failed". I've played other N64 games, however, and the same exact thing happens. They all work fine, though, so thats not the problem. The problem must be something else. As for why your browser crashes, well, i dunno... im doing this on chrome. Maybe you should try that.

When it says saved state download failed at the beginning of the game loading, it means that you don't have any save states for it to load. Try using either firefox or chrome, and if you have to use IE make sure to follow the steps hereand make sure that no matter which browser you use that you have cookies and third party cookies enabled for the N64 games to work the best they can on your computer.
