Do taking BCAA supliments work?

Have you tried them?

what about other amino acids, do these have a beneficial effect on the body, repair, growth and healing?

I have tried them in the past, but now really need to repair my body, what is the best thing to take?

My dad used to take amino acids after a run so i had some too after work outs and it did nothign apart from make my skin look a lil' better dont know how that works but its the only difference i could see.

Ive tried Protein powder and i got bigger but now i'm working on shedding the bits of puppy fat i gained from it so i look more toned.

As for BCAA's im sorry but i've never tried them
