who uses it and what do you think of it? the pros and the cons?

I use it during the winter, because usually I tend to live away from the city centre and it gets really cold and windy here. So, it's good to have it, right.
Yet, it is so over-crowded. And I try to be polite and tolerant towards older people, let them have the seat, etc. Yet, I get so fed up every now and then - who the hell they think they are?? sorry really. just because I am young doesn't mean that they can push me and NOT apologize or that when the bus is full then they seem to think that we the young don't need anything to hold on to in order to stand in the bus, I mean, commoon really.
What I absolutely love is the convos I sometimes have overheard. totally random, yet fun.

I lived in Boston for a while and I took the T and the buses.

The T was slow, expensive, smelled bad, had some weird homeless people in it, and didn't have good protection when you waited outside in the rain or snow. The little shacks you could stand under didn't fit many people, which made rush-hour crowded.

The bus was better, with air condition, less expensive, and less crowded. I never minded the bus.

I go on public transport every week! It's good and at least 99% reliable! I live in Vancouver, so 'public transport' to me, is to hop on a bus, make a mad dash to the SkyTrain, then squeeze yourself in a Waterfront ferry. Haha, at least the fare is cheap here!

I am deaf, so I cannot hear the random chatters going on. You do have a point, the elderly thinking they're oh so superior. But that's not everyone, though, I've only encountered 4 rude people so far. If you stand in a bus, look at this way. If you ever want to be a seaman or sailor, your sea legs are already ready!
