Sega Genesis , Super Nintendo and TurboGrafx 16 OH MY! My eyes just couldn't believe the incredible display of colors , all the detail and how many moving objects were on the screen All AT ONCE! SIMPLY REMARKABLE !( I did grow up playing the Atari 2600 so please bare with me). The game I'm writing about is none other than The Legend Of Zelda : A Link To The Past. Still one of my favorite games to play. Really how could you not like this game. You swing a cool sword , you beat the bad guy and you save a awesome babe. Life couldn't possibly get better. Unless .......... You play an awesome babe with a sub machine gun wasting away the bad guys in Rolling Thunder 2. Wait........ you lose your memory , discover clues , fight off gangs and hack a network to unfold one of the greatest mysteries. YOUR OWN MEMORY !!!!!! WOOOOO SHADOW RUN FOR THE SNES WORTH EVERY PENNY. Now how on earth can you beat that. Well, travel back and forth through out time in Crono trigger. Upper cut there ****** in STREET FIGHTER 2 or defeat Dracula for the fourth time in Castlevania 4. Life back then was awesome. Not like today's gamers. Living in a virtual world but then again times have changed and all I can really say while trying to talk to the kid in Mexico is , I may be old enough to be your father, but I just fragged your ******

Yeah, 16 bit is where it's at. I played Atari 2600 when I was about 5, then got a hold of a Atari 5200, got a Nintendo when I was about 6, when Super Nintendo came out though it revolutionized gaming. It's still my favorite system out of all of today's systems.

This belongs in the video game forum. You are right, those were the days. I can remember opening up my SNES for the first time as a Christmas present back in the 90's. Since then, it's come out with so many great games.
