Omg I know I went to gamefaqs to look at the poll and it said that Revolution name is changing into Wii. So much stupidity of changing the name. If I like buy the system and ask that I could get a Revolution from the guy at the counter he would probably say no thats Wii. What an idiot. You just don't understand what the controller does I don't think. Check the article out. Plus there is going to be a shell so you can play some games with a traditional controller. Imagine Halo or any other FPS with that controller.

Is Xbox a word? No. What's Playstation a compound word. The Xbox fanboys went nuts when the official name was Xbox 360 because they became so attached to Xenon.

And I'll say it again, from a marketing standpoint Wii is the better choice. It's short, simple, and to the point. Most consumers don't know nearly as much about videogames as any of us. If you keep it something simple then it has more chance to catch on. Look at iPod, Google, Yahoo, etc. They probably all sounded totally stupid when first thought up, but now who doesn't know what they are. If Wii is marketed right then it could be a huge hit. Nintendo has gotten better with it's image lately.

Ahh damn why do you have to go and be smart one me Michael. Yes you have a point and Nintendo also does. Xbox and Playstation is a better name than Wii I think. And the others like google, yahoo, and the others are better than Wii. Actually Revolution I think is the better choice. It makes more sence.

And the public wouldn't get what Revolution meant so there isn't really a difference to the general public.

It wouldn't matter if I did think about the name for a couple of days the name still would be ignorant or pointless. This makes no sence because Revolution means something and Wii doesn't really mean anything. Its too bad I had a good argument to say that Revolution is alot better than Wii.
