Zelda is still a Cube title, but since the Wii/ Rev can play GC games it will have special Wii controller functionality. And yes GC controllers are able to be used for GC games. I liked the GC controllers, they worked pretty well for me.

It does have a USB port (probably should be an but a sounds better to me). But you probably won't be able to use your controller, most if not all games will use the new controller.
