Now i know what your thinking. What is DotA?
DotA stands for Defence of the Ancients. It is a maximum of 5v5 Modification for Warcraft III: Frozen Throne. Now, from this board i know Neojazex and Zylo have played it.. Because i have played it with them ^.^

The point of this thread is to find out if other here play it.
And to advetise it, so if you have WCIII: FT, then i suggest you right now, go to DotA AllStars and download the latest map ^.^

For the ones who have played it, leave your battle net name here as i am going to do the same...
Now, i used be icewave04 but i joined a new clan so i decided i needed a new name.
Hence, my name on battle net is now

It is a great game. Adn the MOD will be loved by RTS and RPG fans alike. mainly because DotA is very much an RPG set up. u have one character. You build them up in level and specific items. And you kill your enemys...

I played with a few friends this weekend... Got god like... twice... it was good! And we only played 3 games... and cause of n00b ally we lost... Arucard is DotA n00b... and no he isnt a member of this board...

Either way.... I PWN!

The best thing is earlier that day, i played against neo, and f he didnt keep hidding in his base i would have gotten god like against him to...

Dota is a mod. Why? Because a map would only have basic changes. Dota has changes to actual character modeling. Thus its a mod. WC3's maps r made to be moded like this. Sure you can argue about this but if u want see an actual map ver of a game go play SC. then play WC3 and see the difference. CIV 4 has maps the same exact way.
