I was in hospital as a child and needed an adult to take me home, my mom and dad were too busy to help and asked my brother who said he was scared of hospitals, in the end I had to stay and extra night and when I got home my mom and dad went back to work and my siblings would not even fetch me a glass of water and I burst a stitch. My parents were furious with them for that.

my older brother let's me down all the time. We don't get along well.... but the rest of my family seems to come through for me whenever I need it. I was on crutches and I still tried to do everything on my own.... XD let's just say I dropped a few things but that's life. sorry for what happened though. Sounds like your brother wasn't feeling in the nicest of moods.

Yeah my family has let me down a few times or more and I really don't care for them...
I don't really trust them and I don't want really talk to them after I move out. I have my own reasons no matter how cold that may seem.

I can think back to when I started playing piano. I was self taught and REALLY had a passion for it. I asked my parents to get me lessons, but they always said that I wouldn't stick with it and they didn't have the money. So I never received lessons, and now I am a music student who's had no lessons, but yet has made the most progress in piano.

NotJon : Thanks! I'm really excited I got the job at a music store though. I can go further with it. I plan to hopefully open my own music store someday

They would never do that to me. I am glad that they don't do that or I would be in depression.

My family has stuck with me through everything. They've never let me down badly up to date and I'm glad of it

Just last october I went through MAJOR exploritory surgery where the doctors took samples of all my organs in my body (except brain) to see what is wrong with me. (No they still have no idea). I went home and was told to do NOTHING. I had verry simple things I wanted.

1) Sheets on the couch and a pillow
2) A fan to keep me cool
3) The animals taken care of

NOTHING was done when I came home! I had to do it all myself and then a few days later I exploaded and gained 100 lbs of fluid and was put in the hospital for another 2 weeks... I now have constant swelling along with the chronic pain the doctors have been trying to diagnose for over a year now...

Oh and my parents said to me, "You should of asked for help, you know your not allowed to do anything!" ... Yah that just made me even more angry. They keep saying that to me then ask me to do stuff like the laundry (Which is down in the basement and I'm not supposed to do!) Also they make me babysit a 3 year old which I'm not supposed to do either! >.< Oh and they moan if they have to get my medicine... Some times I have to go days without my meds, just cus they are too busy vissiting friends.... (Yah and my medicine only cost $1 each...)

Ya My family has let me down in alot of situations in my life. But Most times they were there for me!

mmm... my family has let me down sometimes, specialy my dad, but i think it happens in almost all the familys

My sister is a drug addict, and has quite a few felonies. I'm not exactly proud of her. Actually, she's in trouble so much, I could care less now. How has she let me down? She's the reason my family that's close to her has to hide so many things. She's been the only thing I heard about everytime I got home from school when I was younger.

I love her, but she's like a fly almost. I looked up to her as a very young child, and now I can't believe I did. Letting me down is just an understatement in my case. It's more like ruining my loved ones safety when it comes to their belongings, making us worry so much, and destroying her own life. She's let me down a million times.
