What was every1's favourite match??? I loved nearly every single 1... except 4 mickie vs trish... stupid psycho mickie winning argh!!!!
My fave part was cena's entrance!!!!

Mickie totally botched the stratusfaction near the finish ... so yeah, that match sucked.
I'm glad that Rey finally got a major WWE title (cruiserweight is NOT major lol).
I was kinda disapointed by Triple H. Cena deserves props though. Good show and yes, both entrances were great.
And my hats off to Mick Foley (hardcore wrestling legend) and ... possible future hardcore legend, Edge!!! Freakin' greatest match of the night!

Oh, and Undertaker is 14-0 .... I knew he's beat Mark Henry ..... Taker is amazing!

My old man was tryin' to rent it, but it cost 50 $$!! Can you believe that?!

I was gonna rent it in secrecy and have my parents find out about it later but I lost my satellite provider's phone number.

Yeah 50 is an arm and a leg, right It is waaay too much but I guess I lost sanity for a moment lol

wwe in general is overrated.... their matches are generic and pretty unoriginal

I'm sure the hardcore match was fun to watch.... but still.... probably pretty predictable and stale

and Cena still champ? come on.... he's a terrible wrestler.... [sigh]

Now, I'm not one of those guys running around thinking all of wrestling is real. The storylines are all show, yeah that's true. But c'mon you take major bumps and bruises falling off of a freaking 8 foot ladder (or worst, a 12 foot) so these guys most definantly do too.
I respect anyone willing to go to that extreme to entertain the fans (I was especially fond of ECW and their scaffold matches).
Yes, WWE does get repetive, but the people like the entertainment. If it was just plain, amateur wrestling, wouldn't that be boring to watch on TV?
Cena is a medicore wrestler at best, but he still works his damn ass off to entertain people, so I think that him being constantly boo'd by the fans is just shollow and cruel. Who's another wrestler who rose too fast? Oh yeah, Dwayne Johnson aka 'The Rock' and look at him, they gave him a 'heel' persona and the fans LOVED him and he is like the 3rd most popular figure in sports entertainment (I beleive it goes Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, The Rock, Steve Austin etc.)
Yes, it's bad that some of the older entertainers (Lou Thesz, The Sheik, etc) and pure performers have been long forgotten, but these new kids on the block are keeping their legacy alive.
And I agree 100% with the fact that if Eddie was still alive, Rey would never have won the title. I think it's very wrong that they used Guerrero's death to push Rey to the championship, but hey, he is a great susperstar and does deserve it, and it's not his fault that he won it in this fashion.
BTW on that note, did you know that The night after Eddie died, he was suppost to win the title from Batista (in at triple threat: Batista, Orton and Gurerro)?

EDIT: Oh, and the Hardcore Match between Foley and Edge (called by Joey Styles of course) Was the match of the night in my opinion. Edge earned Foley, as well a my and 1000's of other fans, respect!!! WHOA!

I wanted Angle to win but oh well. IMO Angle is the best athlete in the WWE.

But now I more or less ignore most of the interviews, occasionally they are funny, but most of the time just silly. I just get irratated when they make a good match and then have it end some weird way involving interference.

Also they should of had Bret Hart be the special guess Ref for Vince Vs. Shawn.

And yeah, it may all be staged, but I can't imagine that you could get through all your matches without getting hurt at all.

I think that Angle is the best pure athlete (as in amatuer wrestler/grappler) in the WWE, as he is the most celebrated ... but has had the baddest raps, as in they give him some pretty lame storylines.

Also, Bret wouldn't have reffed the match because he has disagrements with HBK. He said if HBK was at the Hall of Fame Inductions, he wouldn't come, which is kind of self centered because Shawn did makes just as many (not quite as many) sacrifices as Bret Hart. I still like Bret Hart more, but I wish these two men would just put the "Montreal Screwjob" behind them.

I remember Brian Pillman fought Steve Austin back in the day, and Austin broke his nose open. Also, British Bulldog vs. Bret Hart at an "In Your House" event waaay back I remember Bulldog throwing Hart headfirst into the steps and busting his head open, and it wasn't staged ... Hart was bleeding like crazy, but refused to stop the match. How many of these "anti-wwe" wrestlers wouldn't go running to their mommy's to get a band-aid.

In my own opinion, I would enjoy watching an independant (or backyard) wrestling circuit, because as they stage the shows, the violence is real (check out JCW or any of the indies from the Backyard Wrestling games.)

PPS: Cena is a solid athlete, but sometimes he 'works' over his opponents too much (like Cena vs. McMahon a few weeks back, Cena was like rolling around in pain after a few hits from McMahon .... who knew a CEO of a major corperation could do a hit that hard ... lol (althought Vince is in great physical shape).
A lot of people have caulms about his inring work ... mainly his 'acting' or 'working' (working is playing off a match ie: injuries, rivalries etc ... anything planned)

That was just what I heard about Bret reffing a match. I kinda doubted it would happen.

And yeah Angle does get some pretty lame story lines. But I thought it was pretty sweet when Angle won that Battle Royal on Smackdown to win the title.

Yeah that was good. I think his storyline on Smackdown! thus far has been pretty great. Except it is kind of annoying when he calls himself 'The Wrestling Machine' .... Even though he is probably the closest thing TO it ....
I hated his whole RAW storyline. They made him seem like a psychopathic lunatic. And when he made the comment at ... I think it was Summerslam??? "I really don't like black people" that really brought his character to an all time low.
Angle deserves much better. I'm afraid though they are going to push him back to 'heel' after losing the World Heavyweight Title at WM22, which means we will probably see more horrible storylines.
Oh, and I've read and heard Angle interviews, and he was very displeased with some of the 'angles' the WWE was giving him.

I used to watch Wrestling hardcore when I was younger (back when we had a cable scrambler ) and I remember alot of the old Pay Per Views. Lately though, I haven't been watching it much and when you miss too much of the story line you have no idea what the hell is going on. I know Mark Henry is back, he plays better into the big angry black man persona than the sexual pimp.
The thing about wrestling is that they're all just actors, not fighters. Those guys do bust their asses to much to be called fake though, anti-wrestling fans obviously do not realize a couple wrestlers died from doing their own stunts, that's more than you can say about over payed, overrated Hollywood actors like Tom Cruise and Matt Damon.

Yeah exactly. I just recently got back into wrestling (like sometime last November). And when I 'came back' everything was totally weird.
Oh, and Mark Henry is much better off as the big pimp though because I wasn't buying his big black badass storyline. BTW: Henry's 10 year contract with WWE expired at WM22 I beleive, so the buried alive match with the Undertaker was probably his last. They'll write him off as 'dead' like they did when Taker beat Andre Gonzales way back at WM9 ... I think it was 9. LOL And it's scary I know that too.

EDIT: Wait, I Was wrong, it was a casket match not buried alive. Anyone Taker's ever beat in a buried alive match (with the exception of Kane) never came back, or went away for a long period of time.

It is unbelievable how controversial this topic is!
