I thought Phantom Ganon was harder. Trying to shoot him as he escaped in and out of the pictures was a pain. The magic the Phantom Ganon fired also seemed to fly faster and the room was smaller. That part was definitely harder. I still think I like the Phantom Ganon battle better because it was more complex. Ganondorf was as simple as just hitting the magic, shooting him, and running up to cut him. Phantom Ganon's death was funnier too.

I agree, the phantom was definitely harder to defeat than Ganon.

The hardest part is playing on a keyboard and going in circles trying to catch Ganon in time before he escapes out of the picture.

The Boss Ganondorf was easy for the most part. Simply deflect his magic, shoot him with a light arrow and attack. I think escaping the collapsing castle was actually harder than Ganon himself.

i like battleing both of them but phatom ganon is more of a challenge its too easy too beat normal ganon

Phantom Ganon is harder. Small room, hard with solo keyboard = Difficulty.
It's funny though how he says that Ganondorf will be harder.

OMG I LOATHED the phantom in my N64 playthrough. I thought you had to hit him WHILE he was flying over. but in OoT3D, I breezed through him. but phantom is harder.

It's been probably a decade since I've played through OoT, but phantom was superior. Forest temple was intriguing, and I don't really recall much of a challenge from anything following the water temple.
