What is the point, AA A AAA D C and all the specialised ones!

You can now get super power AA batteries and they last ages and D batteries that don't last 5 minutes.

I do use recharables and there is a huge difference between cheap ones and good ones in terms of battery life.

Can we go for something simplier?

Totts : No because if there was you couldn't get enough energy stored in a small battery for a big electronic it would take too many batteries. And if you did one big battery then it wouldn't fit our watches or cameras and stuff. Now if you made all the batteries rechargeable then that might be an idea! It be eco-friendly because you wouldn't have to throw away so many batteries.

Yes, they're complex to use, but I disagree about 1 type.

There is a lot of types for a reason. Specialized batteries are modified to suit their designed object.

The smaller it is, the more effective it has for a small object, such as a mouse or something.

Eh, somehow I don't see the same battery used for a laptop fit for ones in a space rocket or car. They are different for a reason, and as Snowdeath pointed out. A big battery wouldn't really work in something designed small-scale.

For things that are powered by AAA or AA batteries, having the same size for them would be much more convenient.

I don't think there should be only one size
it may be confusing having a bunch of diffrent
sizes but its easier If you were to make one
size batttery then you'd need more for some things
and it would end up getting expensive.

lol. no I think they should have a difference in size and capacity depending on product and usage. there is a reason why they are bigger, in order to power something that requires more jolt... but batteries, and cells sure are advancing...

It would help for some reasons to have only one size, but they have different sizes for a reason. Basically so they can store more energy.
