What is your view on men wearing Alice bands?

So many men, that I see on international football anyway, tend to be wearing Alice bands, now these men tend to have lots of lovely hair and instead of the pony tail that was favored in the past they wear Alice bands, particularly those with curly hair where a pony tail would be inappropriate.

What is your view?
 
p.s. The name Alice band comes from the red hair band that Alice wore in Alice in Wonderland, now the term is used to mean a thin hair band that holds back the hair 'usually' of soccer stars.

Alice bands are hair pieces made for people with long hair (I guess) ... didn't know what it was until I just googled it. The one's I'm seeing are girlish head pieces with jewels and designs...something a female would wear, so a man with it on isn't a good look.

Alice bands are used by soccer players for soft headers and cool them down from the heat of the game. I used to and still am using alice bands for soccer pratices and games and it feels great when your hair touches the ball giving your head a nice touch from heading the ball.

I'm not sure what an Alice-band is, even after briefly going through the posts in this thread, but I really don't care. Why should I give a (explicit phrase) on what other people chooses to wear or do with their appearances? If they are fine with it, I'm fine with it. I won't judge people for how they modify their appearance UNLESS it is in an offensive context.
