You load up a GBA emulator. That's like getting out your GBA. Then you open a game file, which is like putting your game in and turning it on. If your game is an original GB file, then it will play it like you're playing a GB game on a GBC or GBA, with the color.
Since the RGR plugin uses a GBA emulator for all GameBoy ROMS, it will always load like this. I'm talking from experience here.

Well, the point of having the original Gameboy emulators like they are is to play them in their original greeny goodness. If you really want to play a Gameboy game in color, play it in a GBC emulator.
