I should clarify. I consider a joke relationship to be either
1. Sort of dating a close friend, but not really.
2. You and another person both telling other people that you two are dating.

Those are the two I can think of right now. It's basically just not a serious relationship.



I had one with a girl in high school for a few years. It was an interesting cycle.
1. She walks up and says we're going out on Friday.
2. We don't go out. We never even call each other.
3. The next time I see her I remind her that we never went out.
4. She dumps me.
5. She walks back after a few minutes and says we're going out on Friday (it was always a Friday). Repeat starting at Step 2.

This lasted for around 2 years, but then she got a real boyfriend so it sort of ended. We both thought it was a joke, but apparently some people had taken it seriously.



Do you have any story, even if it's a short one?

Well my best friend Justine is bi sexual...were not into each other in that way at all! But for some reason every time we went out in public, we'd hold hands and tell people we were dating...only if asked.

I think it's hysterical considering were completely uninterested in each other romantically...I've known her since Elementary School so we have a long lasting relationship.

sometimes people just get the wrong idea. my best friends are male and I call them my brothers, but often people think we are dating, as me dating them, never have I understood people.

My girl friend and I sometimes walk around public places holding hands just for fun.

Also, I have a close friend, and we're not really dating at this point but some people might think we are since we go everywhere together. Sometimes I don't really care to correct them, but officially I'm single and so is he.

Well...not knowingly.

It was senior year in high school and one of the top five hottest girls in my class had JUST noticed me in her English class nearing the end of the year. For about 3 months, up until graduation, she told all of her friends I was her 'pretend' boyfriend. Even as far to go as some of her and her friends joked like, "oooh what's he doing sitting with those girls at lunch?" And they used to make faces at me lustly in class and I never noticed Ha. That summer we actually started hanging out and that is when she told me.

p.s. apparently my spellcheck system tells me 'lustly' isn't a word haha.

Yeah. We just did it, my friend and I, just for fun. WE talk a lot, so we just wanted to see what people's reaction would be.

This is a bit strange bu me and Choko call each other nekkid buddies, even though were not dating. lol. Not exactly sure how that started though.

I've never been in a relationship of any kind, so...no, I have not.
