DayQuil, NyQuil, lots of liquids, Gatorade (it has electrolytes... like Pediasure), avoid dairy. I know that DayQuil makes a mucus control formula that might help with the stuffy nose.

When ever I get colds I just sleep all day, and eat A LOT. It's usually gone in a day or so, but then again I never get sick and when I do I recover fast.

You should try to consume as much hot stuff as you can.

Hot tea, hot soups, anything hot will help the congestion. I do it all the time and feel better....

Also, take cold medicine, like Mucinex (My personal med) ... that clears the congestion in your chest and the nasal congestion.
