I have had similar comments made towards me, I really don't think sexist comments like that are fair at all. It actually ticks me off quite a bit. As if men don't have hormones and emotions, too? I mean, really... What a lame comeback.

Probably something "you are a b****", but I don't care if they do say it.
Men who have a lot of women are talked about as "hotshots" or whatever,
yet women of the same sort - as b****es?
the trick is to ignore people who know nothing about you.


Well in my opinion respect goes both ways.
It's not only men who have to consider women - women should sometimes really think more before leashing their own frustration on men sometimes.
There's always a lot of talk about abuse and harassment and sexism.
Yes, of course, I am for the equal rights blablablablaaa etc etc etc.
BUT, look at the statistics and what you see is that -
men committ more suicides;
they have more pressure because throughout history they're believed to put food on the table and take care of the family, it's like no one says but expects them to cope with everything because they are MEN;
there are more simple labourers among men who do the hard and lowpaying jobs;

so no wonder they snap more easily.

Not saying I approve that, but I can see why.

And there are people on both sides, men and women, who are born as arrogant idiots.

Gender stereotypes and cultural expectations cause pressures and problems on both sides. As such, I have received horrible insults from members of both sexes... and trust me, it pisses me off just as much to be called a stupid b**** by some chick as by a guy.

The worst thing that has ever been said to me though was by an ex that was really controlling and did not like my male friends. He said, with all seriousness, that if I hugged them in greeting that it was no different than if I had f*cked them.

I left him soon afterward.

The worst thing a guy ever said was something he didn't even say to me. I made out with him one time, then he told everyone at the school that I had sex with him. I was tormented and called a whore for days by every other girl in the school besides my friends, even the pregnant ones.

That's not cool, Totts. You deserve to be treated by a princess as well as every woman.

The worst thing I've heard from an ex boyfriend is probably drop dead, or I wish I never met you. At that time, when he said that to me, I blacked out and assaulted him...never again did we have that situation!

I haven't really dated anyone yet. I still have three people left on my list of people to come out to before I start looking.

It did hurt when my best friend from 3rd grade came back after the summer and said the 4th grade equivalent of "Eff off" right before he joined up with the jerk who bullied me.

I have some interesting ideas of sexual harassment in the workplace but I won't share them unless someone is interested.

I didn't realize this was for girls only when I clicked. I'm a guy and I'm a straight.

I was in combat in Azerbaijan and we took mortar fire from some bad guys. A round went of near us and my buddy from high school got hit. We fired back, suppressed them, and got air support to help out. I used the radio to call a helicopter to evacuate my friend while the Corpsman and two other guys were working on him.
