Where I live pissing in elevators is a daily occurrence and you don't need to be stuck in there for it to happen. Inside the elevator there are carvings such as "f... this place" and "take a shower" etc... its funny because the people who do that are the ones who are pissing and throwing their babies diapers in the trash near the lobby door. I feel sorry for the rent lady who has to show people a place this building is the worst out of the entire complex.

Anyway if I were stuck in an elevator the last thing I would be worried about is where to go to the bathroom. Who knows how long I would be in there for... but I like to think ahead and I don't want to be rolling in waste if I had to sleep.

First of all, I would try to remain calm. Just like any other serious situation, remaining calm gets things done faster and more carefully. Then I would try to calm down anyone that MAY be in the elevator with me. I'd also try to use the elevator phone, if they have one to see if there is anyone in maintenance working on the situation. If not, I'd use my cell phone, if I get a signal, and call 911 and let them know where we're at and if they can help us get out.

I've pried open the doors in an elevator before, so I'm definitely not peeing anywhere near that door.  The parts just inside the metal look like giant motherboards on older ones.  I'd look for ways out (some don't have service hatches at the top), then use the corner farthest away from them.  I'm not looking to climb around an elevator shaft when I have to use the bathroom.

I would just pee. In a bottle, a corner, whatever. Just let it out. If the situation prevents it from happening (too crowded to just pee), then I would tell someone to give me a boost and push me up after I have broken the top. Then, I would climb up the cable/elevator shaft and then go pee. If no one gives me a boost and pushes me up, then I would just get everyone out of my way and then pee.

I think I'd be really childish and just try to write my name with my own urine on the elevator wall. I mean at least it's a fun idea instead of being all gentlemen like and peeing in the corner just for it to slowly run across the floor straight back at you anyways.
