Probably need to make a new function for solving the puzzle. And since I suck at puzzles in general I don't really know how it works Basically you would just need a new function then pull the results from the form and check wether the numbers are correct or not if that is how your wanting it to work:

var cell_C1_4 = document.getElementById('C1_4');
var cell_C1_4 = C1_4.value;

if(cell_C1_4 != 3){
cell_C1_4 = "X";
}

X would be the wrong number. There probably is a formula you can use sorta like the one that is used in your code however as I said I am not great at math or javascript in general. I also am not sure what exactly your wanting to do with this, are you wanting a solve button which just puts all the missing #'s up without checking what the user entered? Or do you want it to check what the user types?
