What do you guys know about outer space? I've been interested in it. I think there are a lack of pictures because I've seen a lot. But there is just a lot to wonder about outer space. Do you know any recent NASA events or what? I personally like what the Hubble Telescope has done. How 'bout you guys?

Was hubble an australia telescope? I know skylab crashed in australia. We got a pic of my sista, wif some wrekage.

NASA just launched a satilite, or there satalite is now almost at, pluto. No one really knows wat it is.

I've heard of planet X. But really, there's a discussion of what a planet is, because way out were pluto is there are objects bigger than Pluto and things smaller. And that JFK comment was random...but I guess that was a joke to show that you just have a lot of questions. I heard about a space shuttle going to pluto also. I don't have much info about that. But I know there is one at saturn and a probe on it's moon titan.

Did we actually land on the moon?

I've heard alot about planet X, but think its nothing, And alot of people say at the end of the 2012 mayan calender somthing big will happen.

Theres alot of conspiracy therists out there, thats why i chucked the JFK tag.

Haha. The bank...I don't believe that the end of the world will come for a long time. People are probably just sayin' stuff because it's in the 2000's. Personally I think it's no differnet from 1900's. It's just our time now. We got crazy people too.

What do you think Zylo, we crashed on the moon and a American Flag popped out and landed on it. Then they had to fix it and while they were fixing it they just explored and had a good time? heh...

Haha, that shows how gullable some people are...weirdos, at least the movie didn't get sued. Hehe. I was thinking, maybe a space craft and use light to travel. But some how it's got to move that fast without killing the people inside. It's like you'd have to be one with the craft. I don't totally get light and it's functions, so that sounds like a good idea right now.

..... you would be moving at light speed as well, as long as you don't suddenly start or stop you should be fine as far as the speed goes. I mean think about when you are in a car, your body is moving the same speed as the car, but you don't notice as long as you don't peel out or slam on the brakes.
Now as far as War of the Worlds went you have to understand that Orson Wells was way ahead of his time when it came to the sound department etc. If you have ever heard of Citizen Kane you can see some effects in it that were used for the first time then, but used a lot now.

Well, with the light speed, you'd have to accelerate, or the sudden jolt (since light is flat out fast) with probably make your head fly off, and other loose things. I wouldn't know how to stop something of that speed without using fuel, unles you use light of less for the opposite way. You'd have to be totall strapped to not get hurt. You can really think of many many things.


I think that black holes are interesing. I need to read more about them. I don't know how astonomers can find out so much about things that they really can't probe. Like, they know the speed of our galaxies and others. The speed of planets and they are really really high numbers. That makes you think. Outer space is really really huge because you can look at it but it doesn't look like it's moving, but it is, and it's really fast, something that can circle the world hundreds of times in a second.

I heard that some galaxies collide, now that's something that I want to see. I want to see more pictures of outer space!

I didn't know that, is it light that speeds up or something? Or do you use something else? I totally don't understand it.

Also, BigBob, I think that that's weird. Yeah, I guess because it was so unbelievable. It was 2AM? I was going to school in the 5th grade. It happened in the morning. I was like ??what?? Now I'm a freshman, that being 9th grade.

Back to outer space. Can you mess with the photons in light? or are they moving to fast?

Also you would just use a normal space craft equipped to go up to light speed, but they can't even get small particles to move 100% light speed. The tech to make a craft fast enough could be quite a long way off.

In space, you should be able to gain alot of speed, because its frictionless.

Right now we don't have the technology to really even approach the speed of light I guess it might be possible for a particle accelerator to get a particle to light speed in outer space, but I something tells me it might not be able to even then. When things approach light speed rules change. And those particles are pretty much protons and electrons.

Mmm... What about when u go faster , u slow down time. Ever heard of that. If u get 2 digital universal clocks or whatever they are, they record to the nearest millionth of a second (or somthn cool like that). Anyways, when u get 2 to the exaclty the same time, and you take one around the world in an aircraft, when u come back they have different times... I cant see how that can happen. But according to that, if you flew at lightspeed to pluto and back , all your friends who were the same age will have actually aged alot more than you.

I don't if I totally understand that. But, I believe that if you move faster that you don't slow down time. Time can't be morphed by speed, time is an intamperable fabric, it's not phisical at all. So it's cannot be messed with. You'd just being going a distance in a shorter amount of time.

Hey, if you were to travel at light speed. How the heck would you control it?

I like finding ways of doing things. Even if technology isn't close but it's this kind of thinking that helps people finally find out how to do something. Like people thought it would be impossible to leave earth, but people acutally were trying to find ways to do it. And they did.

About the time, time is the fifth dimenstion or somthn. And the evidence is there, that when you travel faster, compared to not moving at all, you morph time. It might not have been much, but it still changed.

I spose you couldnt control it manually, it would have to be a computer with totally mapped out constilations n stuff. Even then turning would cause G's (i think... dunno if it would in outta space) and just kill everyone.
