I do not believe that I have had to suffer this tragic event. So far, I do believe that I have received nothing but good news during the Christmas holiday / holiday season period. Which I am insanely grateful for.

No i never receieved sad news at christmas my family don't really have bad news or get bad news frequently. I like that a lot because i don't have time feeling sad for people and crying.

Something I forgot to include the last time I posted (honestly I probably just remembered because it's getting closer to the holidays) is that I remember years back my mom read in the news paper a couple days after Christmas that a dad and his 7 year old daughter had gone out Christmas morning to grab a last minute surprise Christmas present for her mother, and a semi hit a patch of ice on the highway they were both on and hit them, killing them both.

I've never been able to forget it and it makes me even more appreciative for my family and friends.

Nothing like a christmas that starts or ends with a funeral. But luckily the actual day has been tragedy-free.

Christmas is kind of a sad time in my family. My dad died two days before Christmas two years ago, and my Uncle-in-law just passed away right after Christmas this year. Seven years ago my grandmother passed away in the first part of January. So...yeah, Christmas isn't a really good time for us, but we try not to let it stop us from enjoying the holidays, because our family members wouldn't want us to.

On Christmas morning this (edit- last) year I awoke to news that my grandfather had been taken to the hospital due to a stroke. It must have been a considerably hard time for my aunt as she had just returned from the hospital the night before and had to drive my grandpa their on Christmas day. Her husband had emergency brain surgery in the days leading up to Christmas. Her birthday happens to be the 25th of December so she not only had a horrible X-mas but also a horrible birthday. Fortunately both are doing well. The doctors are surprised at how well my uncle is doing and my grandfather is feeling better, he will most likely have to live in a nursing home from now on but things could be worse.

There is never a good time for bad news but I would like to think that being surrounded by family and loved ones makes things a bit easier to handle.

My Christmas has never been bad Iam sorry to hear that people had a bad Christmas before all of mine turned out great

A few years back on christmas, when we woke up my mom told us that our great-grandmother had died. We already knew it was going to happen, because she had to go to the hospital only days before and was really sick. I guess it was kind of a relief, since she did't have to suffer anymore. Maybe that's why I didn't cry. Still, I miss her. Other then that, my Christmases have all been normal.

I've had so many bad things happen to me on this holiday I actually hate Christmas.
You'd think I was Starring Down The Middle Finger Of God On That Day.
Name the Tragedy and Chances are that it has either happened to me on Christmas or its going to happen to me on Christmas.

I have, I lost my mother on Christmas day when I was still a little kid. I have never liked it since, everything about it annoys me actually from decorations to cheerfulness lol I normally just lock myself away in my house until its over, so I don't have to hear and look at it.
