My personal "scariest" is Silent hill homecoming (the newest one) I got it for the xbox 360, I like how they just pop out of nowhere. I only jumped when i was playing it at 12 PM or later. I never played any of the other silent hills, I could never find them at the stores i would go to.

The one that actually made it hard for me to fall asleep afterwards was Silent Hill 4: The Room. The baby thing that was in the fridge sometimes disturbed me the first time I heard and this is after skipping through the game as I usually do with these types of games. I think it just caught me off guard or something XD
