I will have to go for Harry Potter! I have never seen Twilight!

This is no question for me: definitely Harry Potter!
I've been a Harry Potter fan since the 1st movie and watched the movies multiple times and read every book at least twice.
I saw Twilight once and I almost fell asleep. It's not the love story, I watched movies like Dear John and enjoyed it, but much more the look and the bad actors and actresses. At some parts of the movie I thought I saw the strings the actors are hanging on. Maybe the 2nd and 3rd movies are better but I didn't like the 1st and I don't want to see the 2nd and 3rd movie.

I've favored both, so it's both for me. I don't like the fact they're using the "Part 1/2" in the movies, though... It sucks waiting!

I've never finished any book in any series......but Harry Potter was more interesting to me.

I enjoyed  both series.....the books and movies. I'd prefer Twiilight because it's more romance based where as Harry Potter is about magic and wizards etcetera.

Definately Harry Potter, Twilight is an alright series, but Harry Potter series is really good and full of suspense and I like that.

I'm definitely a bigger fan of the Harry Potter series than the Twilight series.  I hate everything about the Twilight series, so this wasn't even a close decision for me.

Harry Potter wins hands down. I absolutely can't stand Twilight.

I prefer Harry Potter of Twilight. I absolutely hate twilight.

I vote for Harry Potter because its story is really good and astounding than Twilight,I don't like Twilight either.

I'm not a big fan of twilight. While Harry Potter was a kind of movie that I watch when I was a little kid, and a kind of book that I read during Elementary school.

Harry Potter for me. I read all the books, twice might I add, and really only watch the films to see how they fair with the book. Normally, the book wins, but I have to say the Deathly Hallows (part 1.....ugh) was surprisingly accurate to the book. Well, when you have two films to do a book in, you have a lot more time to pay attention to detail.
What annoys me is that the last Twilight film: Breaking Dawn, is taking a page out of the Harry Potter series (no pun intended). Like the Deathly Hallows, they are making: Breaking Dawn, Part 1.
AHHHGGGGGG! What is it with splitting films in two parts? Sure, it'll make more money, but it's just a tease on the customer. It's not a TV series. What next? The Smurfs 3D part 1,Pokemon the Movie part 1, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Part 1.....That wouldn't make sense! It's like making a mini-series for the Cinema. But I digress, I prefer Harry Potter because I have never heard of Twilight before.

I'd give a really long explanation why Harry Potter is better than Twilight, but do I need to even say why? Harry Potter has a world of magic, a lot of awesome stuff in it, Twilight is just a sucky romance book where Vampires SPARKLE IN THE DAYLIGHT. Seriously?

I have never read or watched Twilight (nor do I have any desire to whatsoever), but I have read all the HP books and seen all the movies (save for the newest one) and I truly think that it is probably one of the best franchises in history (second behind Star Wars most likely).

Neither win by my standards.

This is an exact quote from my favorite Author, Stephen King, on what he thinks about twilight vs. Harry Potter. “Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people… The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.”
