well i got some ideas
1)download the gamemaker from yoyogames.com
2)download an original game like saphirre or fire red for gba advanced and use advanced map to edit the towns and levels and advanced text to edit signs and what people are saying to make it your own game

Or you can start from scratch and use a program like gamemaker or RPG Maker and get sprite sheets off the internet. If you want to do that I have some good sites to get sprite sheets from.
