For those who have comcast, has anyone else experienced this problem with the bandwidth limit?
I downloaded probably 40+ gigs worth this month, and now my internet is really slow. This also occurred another time earlier this year when I probably downloaded 30 or so gigs worth of files, and my internet became very slow afterward.

Anyone else get this problem? Or know any information about it?


EDIT: I've read some articles, and it seems as though comcast does not tell of what their bandwidth limits are, or even how close your reaching your limit...

Comcast service where I live gets 4 megs down, and the premium service is 6 megs down.
I have DSL which is about 20 bucks cheaper with 700/128 or so. It would suck to have a bandwidth limit....

You might've misunderstood what I'm talking about...

Comcast (or atleast the one I got), only allows you to download like 50 gigs worth of files a month, and once you get near that limit, your internet connection gets terribly slow, like 1 or 2 kb per a sec.

Kinda a bump but holy f***. Please tell me you dont us 50 gigs a month. My notebook hardrive is only 60 and my home computer is like 120 and my I-pod is 40 so total its like 220 gigs which some people still have more. So..... I dont use a lot.

You go to download a file, and the file gets leached by whoever is seeding it....basically your just downloading a file from a bunch of different people, and you can choose to let other people download from you aswell.

These files could include dvd's, games, warez stuff, and lots of other usefull things.
