I remember I first saw Rave master in the glory days of Toonami before Cartoon Network raped toonami in the ass. It was a pretty decent show, I remember staying up real late and watching it past my bed time. Although I am sorry to admit I was really just waiting for Cowboy bebop to come on. Speaking of toonami I think the should bring it back except this time toonami should be it's own channel. Nothing but anime subbed and dubbed I would pay to have that channel.

I watched it on the Monday night anime thing that Cartoon Network had recently. I couldn't help thinking that it played out like a JRPG (right down to the pun-filled location names), and I was disappointed that the video game version was more of a fighting game.

I have not heard of this show. Allthough I have heard of rave parties. So what is it about?

Rave Master is awesome! I first saw it on TV, but I like the manga better. I'm still trying to decide if Let was cooler in dragon form or human form.

I bought the DVDs in a comic/collectibles store several years ago. It was subbed (not the best subbing I've seen, either). I like it. The sword was cool, Plue was cool, it was comical how Grifon was usually turned on by Elie, who was pretty cute. The story was good, although I think the second half of the series was better than than the first.

I will say one thing, for those who have only seen it on toonami you're missing out. CN raped Rave Master (among other series). I was a little excited to see on that channel years ago after having watched the DVD, but as I watched it on TV I was disappointed- they "kid-ified" the show, making look less mature than what it actually was. I should have known and wasn't expecting it to happen. All it took was 5 minutes of 1 episode and I never watched it on TV again. By the DVD. You'll get more entertainment from it. This is coming from a 29 year old who's watched anime longer than most people here have known about it.

And I could have sworn I saw another thread about this a few months ago.

Yay Rave Master! ^^ I actually found out about it a few months ago cuz' my friend has all the Rave Master books that came out in norway and he knew I liked manga and anime so he borowed me the first four books and I started reading it and it was waaay better than I tought it would be
When I was a kid I saw the anime on TV and I didn't like it very much, and I still don't like it really much.......
The manga kicks ass and the anime is okay

scootheman : I found out about Rave Master when I watched the show as a kid. I always thought it was so cool seeing the Norse runes incorporated in to an anime. It's been along time since I've watched the anime but I've read the manga too.

Never heard of it. But now you have sparked my interest.

I love Rave Master, so exiting, I got all the books that came out in Norway, and I really love it.So much stuff that happnes and yeh ;D

The Rave Master is a great movie, exciting and thrilling. You should find it and watch it some time
