I haven't seen the English dub--I began watching subtitled versions of the episodes before the series was even finished airing over in Japan, and I loved it. Champloo seemed to have just the right mix of comedy, action, drama, implied romance, and storytelling, all of it expertly combined together to make an exciting and entertaining show. Plus, it was from the creators of Cowboy Bebop, which made it even cooler in my book.

As I watched the final episode, I found myself wishing for more--like perhaps a sequel of some kind. But I know that'll never happen. (sigh) Oh well, I guess I'll just have to read fanfiction to satisfy my desire to see the story continued...
