Ok let's say it was a good idea to nuke or bomb. It isn't exactly easy to tell the civilians from their military. But anyways that's not the answer at this point.

If Bush would nuke them, there still be war because he would think they are not dead and he would say" We did not finished them go back and find if everyone is dead even the if they are dead shoot them just to make sure they arte dead".

I kinda doubt he would say that.....but destroying a country and its people for our own convience is never the answer. "YEA GUYS LETS NUKE THE WHOLE COUNTRY" Ive heard alot of people say this or things like it, and it's probly the most ignorant and uninformed statement ive heard about the Iraq issue in general.

I'd rather you point out things he has done that would show clear evidence he would do that, like evidence of him doing it in the past......... but we know thats not gonna happen.

Well when I first heard the idea I was very very taken aback. I was eating out with my brothers and thier 40 year old Ex tribal Cop who joined the army. I guess he changed his mind about the whole Iraq thing after being therer and said that we should nuke them... Now I reallly don't know how the pulling people out because the bad guys are living amongst everyone else. I think we are just going to have to wait for the people of Iraq to start to take pride in thier country and make things better, safer, and COOLER. That what makes America so great. People who love thier country so they work for a better future and a better life for all of us. That why a**h***s who constantly Nag on our president... Nag on our country... Bring us down and would apparantly prefer us to live in Anarchy? You know... The Michael Moore type? That hate america.

zylo is right, we are critized too much, we have a vision and a plan for the future, its just kinda hard when you got retards with weapons aiming at our troops, i say, lets pull out, close the borders, invest all our war funds into homeland security, and let the rest of the world gettin their asses blown off by terrosrists, then when they b**** to us, we can say, you wanted us out, so we got out!!!!

You know, honestly, I was thinking along similar terms not too long after 9/11. I just thought, "that entire section of the world is evil. It must be destroyed." I've matured since then though, and I just see this as... a wrong view. Of course, this ALL depends on how you look at it in the long run. Thus, let me give TWO looks at the arguement. I personally believe in the moral look at it, but that is because I was raised in a society with these "morals".


"Unmoral":
There are those who oppose us. They wish to change us to what we are not, or to destroy us. They have already come to attack us, on occasion. We know the location of this "cancer" to our society (or group). Like all diseases, do we not wish to remove the source of these ailments? Like the treatment of cancer, we will take out both the good and bad in this extermination. In the end though, we will truely be rid of that which ails us.

"Moral":
Not all people in these regions are evil. There are indeed those who are terrorists and cruel leaders, but there are those who wish to live a life of peace. Who are we to take the lives of those uninvolved? Would it not be hypocritical to take the lives of the innocent, just as they have to us? We will rid ourselves of the threat in time, and while we may suffer because of this, we can live knowing innocents were left unharmed.


There really is no "wrong" or "right" choice here. It depends on how one looks at it. For while it makes it so much easier to destroy the region in question... would we be able to live with the consequences of these attacks? Wouldn't other countries take notice? When one considers what to do, one must consider the consequences. While just going and destroying the area would rid us of many terrorists, would it not anger nearby governments? Would our own people not be angered with us due to their moral beliefs? When considering this, the "moral" outlook seems to be the far better choice, in a purely logical look at it.

I think they should just go through with the plan, if people die. It's war what can you do, have the war with bb bullets , all you can hope is that it ends as soon as possible, there's been wars worst than this even against ourselves (USA, Civil War)

U cant just nuke them, theres to many good ppls there... And if u took them out, u cant make them live in radiation. Just send caleen deon over there, she'll make them all run away, then the oils ours!!!one!!, i mean yours, its yours america...

bombing iraq would be stupid. there are hundreds of thousands of troops from many different countries including the united states in the country. besides, we can't afford to have the world think of us as a murderous society of nuke crazy warlords. millions of people would be killed in a nuclear explosion not to mention the radiation! the vast majority of iraq's citizens are normal people like anyone here. especially in today's situation, we can't even consider using a nuclear weapon on any country; it is a recipe for world war III and the end of the world in a firey nuclear holocaust
