I am straight... I would say bi-curious but while I do find some women attractive I know that I would never act on it since I have more trouble connecting with women than men... they tend to annoy me.

I have several gay friends and family members, and I am a staunch advocate for gay rights, but most of you know that already. Honestly, I am very much of the mindset that if you love someone it shouldn't matter who they are.

And I think that people feel the need to end their sentences with a statement about tolerance because there is a preconception that if you are straight you are anti-gay, especially on a board with a high concentration of social conservatives, so people want to state not only their orientation but their opinion as well. I am sure that back in the 60s and 70s people had similar conversations about race.

Straight--now, what's this with people saying "but I'm okay if you're gay?" You don't hear people saying "Gay, but I'm okay if you're straight"--no offense, but homosexuals don't need the special treatment where you're afraid to say you're straight without offense .

Pure straight. I do not really care of what people like and I do have friends who are gay and I do not eally mind that because they are people that have the same common interst that you have like playing soccer or hanging around

I am straight as can be and have and will always be straight. I do not judge anyone that is gay or bi.

Straight as a fiddle. I'm tolerant of gay/bi people, do long as the guys don't hit on me or make out in front of me. When that happens, a little piece of me dies on the inside.

Also, I have an update. Turns out that for this joke I am really a lesbian trapped in a man's body. Also, my friend says that I'm "the gayest straight guy" that she knows.

I think it's because a good number of straight people think that homosexuality is a crime against nature, gay people are evil, blah blah blah. People say they are okay with it to distinguish themselves from the haters. That's just an educated guess. Tolerance of straight people by gay people isn't as much of an issue in general so it's not brought up.

For what it's worth, I'm okay with anyone who is straight as long as they don't preach to me about gay people being evildoers

I'm 100% straight. Always have been and always will be. I do have lots of lesbian and gay friends, but they're cool. As long as my gay friends don't hit on me we're cool.

I'm Bi. Have been for a while now. I just can't help but be attracted to both genders. I still haven't been in a relationship with a girl, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't. I've just had a boyfriend for the majority of the time I've been bi.

Sexuality isn't defined by gay, straight, or bi. I honestly believe that the same % of guys would try same-gender sex if it weren't so stigma'd to be BAD. Unless you're gay and gay in the flaming, tv-show, fun way, you can't be a guy and be interested in guys. It's too bad society puts that sort of pressure on males that they can't explore their sexuality.

Would I try sex with another guy? Say my wife asked me to go for it? Sure. Sex is fun and it feels good. Just because I try sex with a guy doesn't make me gay. If I wanted an emotional relationship with that guy, wanted to date him, kiss him, and hold hands, that changes things because of the dynamic of the relationship. Just sex? Whatever.

Same goes with females. Girls who want to have fun with girls aren't lesbians or bi. They just like sex. Girls look good anyway. I'm sure if I were female, I'd be turned on by women. Women are the Jaguars, Corvettes, Porches, and Ferraris of the human body. Guys are jeeps, humvees, trucks, and mopeds. We're for utility.

Saying all that, I chose not to vote. I don't put people into categories. People are just people.
