I could probably beat my friends at Dead or Alive without looking at the TV easily....I've done it before on Soul Calibur for Dreamcast....well some friends, just the ones who aren't pro at the game.

In soul caliber there is a vertical attack to get through ppl blocking, and a horizontal attack to get by sidestepping. There are plenty of combos in MK and SC to keep the other guy from doing anything.
