Hi Vizzed. I'm having some issues with the retro game room plugin: The game starts but the screen stays black while the sound from the game plays. This particulary happens with the GBA and SNES vizzed emulator. Somebody please help me soon 'cause im sick of the same 3 N64 games and I don't feel like spending anymore Viz.

Thank you in advance,
DoubleC

10/30/10 EDIT: DOES ANY BODY PLAN ON ASWERING ME ANY TIME SOON?!?
12/23/10 EDIT: Turns out it was just the computer, so I switched computers. Now those emulators work. Now I can't play ANY N64 games with the exception of "Kirby 64". Please see my page, and try to play the N64 games that I have and pm me if you can get them all to work.

This happened to me for N64 games some times. I really did not like it and I found no actual fix for the problem.

It happens to me sometimes and here's what I do (in order): play always on Chrome (this is mandatory, even though I use FF for everything else), restart emulator (click on restart at game page), restart game page (F5), close game page and open it again, close game page and open it again w/out chat box, close Vizzed page and open everything again (game w/out chat box). Most of the times one of those stuff end up working

---------
PS2: Fine.
Mega Driver with 71 games: Nice.
Super Nintendo bought at the fair for US$ 25,00: Double Nice.
Turbo Game VG9000T bought at the same fair for US$ 5,00: Just Great.
Black Mega Driver 3 found in a trash can with 4 cartridges: works like a charm.
Long in the tooth Atari: running smoothly
Xbox360 Falcon bought for US$ 700,00, used for 6 months: May devil be with it and guard it

billythekidmonster : I've only tried 2 n64 games, which were Conker's Bad Fur Day and Mario 64 (just to test it out). What I found was that they both have black screens of death, however you can still hear the sound in Mario 64. Hopefully they'll fix themselves for me someday.

RideZeLitenin : You can try using a different browser. This usually works good for when it does not work. Other wise I do not think that there is anything to do about it.

billythekidmonster : Doesn't RGR only work in IE and Firefox? Cause I only have IE and Chrome... Not Firefox. Otherwise everthing else - SNES, 32X, etc - runs awesome on IE.

You gotta delete the ROMS from your own computer. Force your rig to show all hidden files. Then, search for a folder named "AppData". Inside there is another folder called "LocalLow". And finally... inside there, you will see the "VizzedRGR" folder.

Now basically all you need to do is find and delete every file of the "problem" game from from theese three locations inside: the "downloads" folder, the folder of the console, and most importantly, the "ROMS" folder.

However you may find that some files never made it past the download folder (they never unzipped)whics boils it down to one step, but thats rare.

Anyway, once the files are deleted just start the game, wait for it to load, and it will probably work (you wont even have to sell and re-buy it). This trick works on multiple consoles and is very effective.

If the game still doesnt work after youve repeated the process 3x then the game is glitchy and theres nothing you can do about it(sorrry)

Only keep in mind that deleting the roms from your computer will make you spend more viz, since you will have to buy the games again

I have this problem, except its with the ZSNES Emu and it's with all games.

I have already uninstalled and installed the RGR, and everytime I open an SNES game the EMU goes to full screen mode and fails I guess because it goes from a black full screen then it goes back to the window the RGR should be in.

I've deleted the game files mentioned by Stryker but still no dice.
