What is your all-time favorite show in the Dragon Ball franchise? I like DBZ the best, it really introduced all the cooler characters and just set the plot out better than the first DB in my opinion. Kai is actually pretty good also, but I don't like GT. The only thing I really like about GT is the name, because it reminds me of a Mustang GT. Anyway, what's your favorite?

I find it hard to really pick one. Dragonball is just so classic. It's WAY funnier than the rest of the series.

Dragonball Z has the best story and fighting.... overall.

GT has next to no story and some pretty awesome fighting.

And Kai is a quicker version of Z.... taking out a lot of the extra story that isn't needed.

I really love the original Dragon Ball now, but I only saw that because I saw DBZ first. I remember being blown away when I first saw it. It was the first show I watched when I first got cable and I hd no idea cartoons could be so epic and awesome.

First there DB, which introduces just about all the major characters...
Then we have Z, which introduces a lot of major battles, but always seems to forget the things that happen as if it never did in the first place...
Then we got GT, which dives us deeper into the mysteries of Dragon ball...
And last we have Kai, which is just a recap of all the major events from Z...

All in all each series gives us the drive to watch it, but also takes things away from us...My favorite would Have to be the original DB,and GT, because they were always moving steadily and with set goals in mind, unlike Z where it would jump from one Saga to the next and had no real goal. And Kai is just something that never should have been made...sorry to all those out there that are fans of Kai.

dragonball z was by far the best out of all the others, reason being was cause it was on one of the best shows back in the old days when we were all young. (toonami) it took place right after dragonball and delivered very well giving lots of good fights, and introducing alot more of different characters who we all know and love now. and basically i think it was way better then GT personally.

I've always liked Dragon Ball the best. Had a real "adventure" sense to it, where in DBZ you had "Oh no, villian! Oh no villian satage (#)! Wait, I'll use super attack! (After 5 episodes of charging) Yes! We defeated him!" And Dragon Ball GT was just trying too hard.
