I don't remember how old I was when I first played a Pokémon game. Probably 7, because I had been bugging my mom for an awfully long time before I got my first game at the age of 8. Third grade, Christmas, Pokémon Blue. I also got a purple game boy color, which still have, though I have a different copy of Blue now since the first one got lost or stolen or something.

I think I was like maybe ten or eleven years old when I first played pokemon yellow. I didn't actually have a gameboy color at the time, but I used my older brother's gameboy color to play. I didn't get my first gameboy color until Christmas =P

when i played pokemon was when i was like 5 years old then years ago and yet mt friend/rival in real life cant beat me at all XD even in the newest one he cant and when he had emerald and so did i we were both lv 100 with all pokemon it was not pretty for him not at all and were still rivals as today but im disappointing in him hes a hacker now and yet he cant beat me

Okay let's back track.

I got into Pokémon before I moved, so I was under 7 years old.

I remember discovering it because I saw someone playing Pokémon yellow. I can actually picture where they were in the game (talking to pikachu in Vermilion city after fishing.) The kid let me battle something and from that moment on, I was a Pokémon addict.

From that moment on I used to buy nearly every single Pokémon game. And I remember that I played the Green Version, too, cause the brother of my best friend had the ROMs on his computer. But I didn't understand a word, cause I wasn't able to speak English back then (I'm German).  xD

I loved it with a passion and up to this day is still my favorite game. But I cried for 3 days when someone stole it from me. Which made me try to get it back and only could of stole his silver. The pain, its still there, but I'm good.
