Hello everyone I was looking over my RPG games and thought id make a thread today and see what your thoughts on the Star Ocean series.
Star Ocean would have to be my 2nd fav RPG series next to Final Fantasy,the fact that you're able to have your members create items such as,potions,food,weapons and armor give the game a feature you don't see in many games.
I also enjoy the fact you can adjust the battle to turn base,semi real time and Real Time.
I look forward to seeing what everyone has to say about this Series.

I only have Star Ocean 3, but that game is very well made. I don't care if anyone thinks it's horrible, the battle system is well done. The game is simply well done when it comes to gameplay.

Let's see... I'm currently playing the 1st here on Vizzed . It's fun. The first that I played was Second Story on PS1 and it was equally fun, until I ran into some glitch that freezed the game causing me to restart my last save in an endless cycle, so I gave up and traded it in.

I have yet to try the remake of the 1st or Second Departure on PSP, The Last Hope for XBOX 360, or gotten around to seeing if there is a English translation to Blue Sphere for GBC, but I'm looking forward to when I do get around to trying these games .

Ya these games are really good,but not many plp actually play them or even know there a series that involves Square Enix,The newer Star Oceans still hold true to the Creativity of the originals and have improved the Battle Systems.so if you haven't played any of these games,do your self a favor and go pick one up right now!!
